Wacky Wild Science as an amazing opportunity to blend Andrea’s passion for entrepreneurship, marketing and education with her love for children! She enjoys each day that she can work with such an amazing team that is kindhearted and driven. It’s her goal to continue to improve our STEM services while helping teachers ignite a imagination & inspiration in their students.
Her first experience with entrepreneurship was when she founded “The Office” Fan Tours and launched The Vintage Theater in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The theater hosted local and traveling bands, art shows and local performances. The Fan Tours increased tourism and boosted media exposure for the city. Scranton also welcomed Executive Producer, Greg Daniels, and 12 actors from the hit TV show (including Steve Carell and John Kraninski!)
Andrea’s spends most of her Wacky Wild days with web design, training presenters, teaching STEM programs, developing new STEM programs and writing/editing on STEAMCityKids.org. Last spring, Andrea launched a new online STEAM-based magazine that turns students into journalists! STEAM City Kids is a growing online community that promotes and blends literacy and current events with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.
